The Global Fund against AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria is on average twice a day on which it was imposed as the main objective to allow donors to contribute to the cause with about 4 000 million, or its equivalent in dollars ( 5 280 million), as expressed by the Director of the Fund, Michel Kazatchine.

That is the task they have in meetings to be convened in Spain, just in Cancers, southwest of the country, the principal place from which the Fund intends to meet the amount necessary to carry out the actions that the organization seeks.

Spray Rodriguez, Secretary of State for Cooperation of Spain said that “There is a deficit of 4,000 million euros” and therefore “we will address how we can cope,”

This meeting of donors to the Fund, held every two years, had his previous time in the German capital, Berlin, in 2007, where, for the period 2008 to 2010 was 13 200 million dollars, which however is not sufficient because the director Kazatchine estimated expenditure for the period amount to 18 500 million, making it necessary that this time the donor returns to its initiative.
